Welcome to my web page! My name is Jennifer Kennedy-Crooch, and I am the Georgetown Math Teacher, as well as the 6th Grade Math Department Head at the 6/7th Grade Center. I'm a graduate of Union High School and Oklahoma State University. My certifications are in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Middle School Math, and Middle School Science. This is my 9th year of teaching middle school math and my 5th year teaching 6th grade math at the Union 6/7th Center. Prior to working at Union, I taught 6th - 8th grade Math and Science at Allen Bowden School where I received the honor of being named the District Teacher of the Year for the 2011-2012 school year.
I'm excited for another great year of teaching at the 6th Grade Center! I love teaching math! I am very passionate about teaching and making a difference in students' lives, and like to relate and apply what we are learning in class to every day life situations on a daily basis. My goal is not only to prepare students for successful years to come in their math classes, but to also prepare them with good character and the skills needed to solve the real world problems they will encounter in their daily lives. Each day I share my enthusiasm, positive attitude, and passion for learning with all students and always encourage them to achieve their absolute personal best. Please feel free to contact me at any time during the school year. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
